  • We’ve got something for everyone!

    Modern Guitar Chord Styles 1 & Electric Guitar Solo Style 1 are our popular beginner books, covering rhythm guitar and lead guitar respectively.

    Modern Guitar Chord Styles 2 and Modern Guitar Fingerstyle 1 are suited to intermediate players, as is our upcoming Electric Guitar Solo Style 2

    And Modern Guitar Chord Styles 3 is our advanced text for players who want to test their skills! We’ve got more advanced texts in the works, too!

  • No prior knowledge is needed to get started with our beginner books, which use rhythm slashes and tablature, in combination with some notation. Everything you need to know is introduced in the book!

  • After checkout, a link will be emailed to you containing a .ZIP file. Inside will be a PDF file of your book, and a folder full of MP3 audio files.

    Please check your spam or promotions folder if you do not receive your download link.

    (Please note Modern Guitar Fingerstyle does not include audio samples)

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to print the PDFs for personal use.

  • We kindly ask guitar teachers to please get your students to purchase their own copy of the book. Please don’t photocopy or share the books/pdfs around.

    We work hard to bring you the best guitar books around, and by purchasing the book we can keep doing so!

    Also- we’ve found over the years in our own teaching practice, students do better when they have a real book to work through rather than a pile of scrunched papers. They can see their progress and go back and do revision on earlier exercises!

    If you have a large number of students wanting to purchase our books, please reach out to us directly via the contact us page- we can organise a bulk discount code for them to use

  • Yes, our song charts are free to use so please go ahead, as long as you don’t remove attribution or change anything on the page, however.

  • Yes, of course! Please get in touch via contact us if you’d like to purchase a larger order of books to stock at your store or teaching studio. We’d be happy to help.

    Internationally to the US, UK, Europe, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland

    AUD$25.00 per bundle

    We’re working on finding international stockists to bring international shipping down.

    In the meantime for our international friends, our digital downloads are a perfect solution!

  • Items are posted within 24 hours of receiving your order. (Weekends and Public Holidays excluded)

    • Modern Guitar Tuition do not accept change of mind returns.

    • Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on downloadable products. Once a downloadable product has been purchased, the sale is final as we cannot verify if you have downloaded the files or not.

    • Physical book refunds or exchanges are provided for defective goods in compliance with Australian consumer guidelines. See https://www.accc.gov.au for more details.

    • Modern Guitar Tuition does not provide postage for returns of defective goods.

    • Modern Guitar Tuition cannot be held responsible for users providing an incorrect address during checkout
