Funky popsters, Parcels’ most streamed song, Tieduprightnow is an appealing funk track for electric guitarists. From their self-titled 2018 album Parcels, Tieduprightnow is an excellent modern example of funk chords and syncopated rhythm work.

Keith is the tongue-in-cheek hit that propelled Playlunch into the mainstream. Self-described as ‘Bogan Funk’ Keith is from their 2025 album Sex Ed and charted at #4 in the 2026 Triple J Top 100. The high energy funk-rock style of Keith makes it a fun jam track for electric players developing advanced chords & funk rhythms.

I Got You by Split Enz is the breakout hit from their 1980 album True Colours. Following a series of brilliantly quirky albums and singles this sharper power-pop style produced success for the band outside of New Zealand and Australia. The distinctive intro and contrasting rhythms of the verse and chorus make I Got You a great chart for electric players.
